Yes, it appears that Max 2025 is a big change to the SDK of the program. Scripts that are pure Maxcript tend to work for years without issue. But if they are built with code that needs to be updated with each new release, then they often break and until the developer fixes them, likely won't work.
My guage as to how much the SDK of Max changed for a new version is how long it takes developers like 3DConnexion to get the new drivers out for the Space Pilot. Last year when Max 2024 came out, the driver was available something like two days later. Max 2024 and Max 2023 must have been nearly identical under the hood. But Max 2025 appears to be a new compile and very different. It's been nearly a month and still no drivers from 3DConnexion.
So, I think you'll have to wait till the developers of your misbehaving scripts get them pacthed our updated. I'd write them directly and ask. Sometimes an onslaught of questions can nudge them to hurry up.
