Hi everyone, I have just downloaded 3ds max 2024 and following the beginner tutorial which uses 2021 and I cannot find the switft loop. I tried searching online but the Autodesk 2024 documentation shows it is within the Modeling?Polygon Modeling ribon with polygon selected on an edit poly, however this doesnt appear. Help appreciated thanks!

I figured this out! Within Modeling ribbon>Polygon Modeling>Edit

however, for me at least it appears as though the Edit menu only opens when you select an edge or polygon within the Polygon Modeling panel and not in the Selection panel in the modifier list on the rhs

hi again, I am on lesson 3 and I am messing around with the speaker - trying to add a swift loop with the edges selected in the polygon modeling ribbon, but it doesnt appear in Edit. Is this something to do with the OpenSubdiv modifier or as I am using a 2021 scene in 2024? or is it a bug?

and if there is another way to create a swift loop let me know, I used max many years ago and back then you would select two edge loops and add edges as a loop in between.

thanks
