Can't set hotkeys for ribbon modeling tools

Just upgraded to max 2019 and I can't get the hotkeys to work for the ribbon modeling tools. I have tried toggling the override. I tried setting the hotkey under the ribbon - modeling category and the polytools category. Nothing is working. 
For reference I am trying to assign shft+C to FlowConnect or FlowConnectAutoRing. Neither works. Also tried to set shft+D to dot loop.
Anyone have any solutions????

I can do it on my computer.

Could you try reset 3ds Max and then try it again?

Nope. I tried restarting both Max and my computer. It was functioning in 2018. Can't get it to work in 2019....

Ok so followed the link and reset my UI and that worked! Thanks!
