Can't select objects in 3ds max 15

Hi , I were using 3ds max 12 I upgraded to 15 by removing 12 and all the files and installed 15 . ryt now wen I installed that I tried to make a big box and another box on top of that and again another two small box on the top of that like a tower .and the problem is I can't select by clicking on the object . wen I click on the top of the box ,the selection goes to the bottom box . does anyone know about handle this ? No problm like this was found in 12 first time I'm experiencing this. Better I re install ? Is dat might could be of file missing or file error ?

I'd like to help you with this, this is a strange issue.   Do you think you could record a Screencast (free) video showing me what is happening?  

If Max is starting up, you almost never need to reinstall.  Usually any problems can be resolved by simply resetting the user settings if they have become corrupted.  Is it possible some of those objects are frozen or on a layer that is frozen?  I'm not sure what is happening but with a video or a sample file you and I can get to the bottom of this.  Thanks for any extra information!

One more thing that might be happening is that your current graphics card isn't supported in 2015.  Can you try a different display driver in 3ds Max for me, please?
