Can someone tell me what the best method would be to make bubbles? I am using 2019

I'm trying the blob modifier (right) however I am not convinced this is the best direction.

thanks

Thanks for all your help @irishman_team_kilber. I guess i am going to stick with blobmesh at this point because i need it to me an animation vs a still render.

I think I am liking shape instance. I animated a partial sphere and it seems to be working so far.

Hey @Anonymous

This looks super cool, how did you use shape instance to get the bubbles effect? I'm super curious on that process.

 @irishman_team_kilber all those bubble videos where super cool! Who knew there was so many different options?!

I created the partial sphere. Then I used position Object in particle view and selected the bubble as an emitter object.

hope this helps

oh and don't forget to make the reference bubble non renderable

@hagen.deloss

yeah most of the tutorials i found you see some plugs in, i mainly use the particle system super spray and then load the pre-set to make the bubbles but this is the lazy way of doing it.

Here is where I'm at with the bubbles. Not happy with the glass at all. Trying to do it with Quicksilver. I have another thread started requesting glass tips.

@Anonymous

This looks great! I think something that offsets and randomizes the bubble speed would really take it the last 10%. I have some experience with glass rendering, I will track down your post!

Talk soon,
