BabylonJS/Gltf Exporter updated to 3ds Max 2025 ...

I just wrapped up a two-week sprint to make the BabylonJS/Gltf Exporter codebase fully compatible with 3ds Max 2025, including several bug fixes and an updated installer. The BabylonJS Exporters offer an extensive, unique Gltf feature set, which I simply wanted to keep relevant and up-to-date rather than letting it become outdated or overlooked.

Oh. My. God. You're an absolute hero, a hero I say!!!!! This exporter still has no competition and I was so bummed to realise the development was discontinued! It would be great if autodesk picked this up as their internal project and turn into into the native max exporter, which currently, let's face it, sucks giant donkey balls. I'm sure babylon guys would be more than happy, they even stated publicly they are happy for whoever to pick this up and carry it on.

THANK YOU.

Thanks !
The great thing is that apparently my effort seems to have motivated  babylonJS people themself to implement some (small) improvements again. I just checked the github release section and to my surprise they released another new version just two days ago ...

On my side , i did some work and started to implement OpenPBR material support ( new PBR material standard for 3ds Max 2025+ )
Not sure if/when i'll have the time to finish that ...

That's awesome.  I use the babylon exporter every day now for a while, it's so good.  Webgl has so much potential, I love it.

can this import as well in Max ? Because post installation we couldn't find that format in import options. Though we could find the Babylon exporter options.

Its only an Exporter
Sadly GLTF import in 3ds Max is indeed missing
would be a major task to achieve, but currently i'm busy with a complete new job (employment) which eats all my time
