Autogrid doesn't work

Hi!

I am trying to use the Autogrid and for some reasons I can’t make it work as it is designed to do.

3ds Max tutorial, I am going through, asks to put various diameter cylinders on top of each other using Autogrid function. I have tried it multiple times, but every time when I have "Autogrid" on, the cylinder is placed perpendicular to the first cylinder, instead of on top. Could anyone be able to advise how I can make it work? Please find the screenshot attached.  Thank you!

Hi,

You need to move your move over the top polygon until you see the X Y axis parallel

To that polygon, then click and drag.

Hi miledrizk ! Thank you very much for your response. I must have set up another grid or messed up with some other settings...as it only started to work for me when I did File - Reset. Cheers!
