Trying to use Arnold after years of Quicksilver. So far I am excited about the renders however trying to figure out why my scene look like crap. Is there a way to see the result other then only in the renders? I tried setting the scene to High quality but doesn't help

Use ActiveShade mode. Set it for Arnold, then switch the viewport to 'ActiveShade'

Cool thing is, that you can still manipulate objects in the viewport, even with ActiveShade running:

This is in comparsion high quality viewport:

I wonder what I activeShade.jpgam missing.

never mind i got it. I had to set the activeshade + High Quality as well.  You clearly showed me i just overlooked it Thanks!
