Animation copy problom

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone can help me out here. I'm building an army of robots and don't want to have to animate every one so was hoping i could animate the original and copy it to make the rest.

However i'm using the biped to animate and it only seems to work with auto key (I think set key would fix this but maybe wrong). The problem I'm having is every time a copy the robot with the walk cycle i've made and the forward motion i've just spent the last few hours doing it wants to put the robot on the same space as the original so it essential becomes the same robot. I was thinking it would just recalculate the the movements based on the start point i had given them like it does if you copy an animated object using set key.

I do have half a solution in mind by going through each key frame and changing the axis numbers manually but would be much more time consuming than the plan above.

Does anyone now a better/faster way of doing this.

I've attatched a picture of how i've created the walk cycle in case this is part of the problem. It was by copying and pasting biped poses

Any help would be greatly appreciated very stuck on this

Many thanks
