All icons missing, nothing works

Hello, 

Everything was fine, didn't use 3ds max while i was on vacation for 2 months, and when i opened it all the icons disappeared, vray toolbar, ribbon, everything and when i try to use a render preset, the usual window pops but the load and cancel button are missing. 

I tried changing the UI to default in the customize UI, changing the ENU to ENU-OLD and nothing works...

Try re-installation or repair. That might fix it. You can also try to change your display driver from Customize >  Preferences > Viewports > Display Driver.

Repairing didn't work, I'll try the reinstall, hopefully that works. 😞

Here are some more things you can try:

1) Update your graphics driver

2) Install latest Service packs of 3dsmax.

3) Temporarily disable AntiVirus (if you use one)

4) Run 3dsmax as admin

5) Create new account and install again.

did all of this, except logging in as admin ( that didn't work) and every thing seems fine now! Hopefully it stays this way. Thank you very much!
