40% increase in 3Dmax fees

Hello,

My vendor told me that starting 29th March 2022 there will be an increase in 3dsmax pricing for single user up to 40%.

Is this true? if yes, then does 40% jump justifiable at one time?

Done anyone here have an idea about this ? 

We are a studio based in India.
