3DSMax2019 Decimal separator ',' (coma) '.' (dot) problems, again

My windows language is French, and I change my language setting to use '.' (dot) instead of the default ',' (coma) as default decimal separator in control pannel (else I can't use the '.' decimal separator of my keyboard numerical pad in 3dsMAX).
My 3dsMAX language is English.
Now, like every fresh release of 3dsMAX, before the patch that fix it,  Max 2019 , again, have the issue of the decimal separator.
If I want to set a decimal number in GUI (no matter where, it could be in 3rd party pluging, caddy, creation pannel, modify pannel etc.., just MXS is ok), the decimal separator of 3dsMAX change completly randomly, from coma to dot to coma to dot, stay dot, return to coma etc etc..completly randomly but everytime.
The only workaround is to reenter again and again the value until max accept it (even just editing the decimal part will not work, because it could change the decimal symbol)…
That make 3dsMAX 2019 near unusable ...

And even worse than that, this time it also effects Maxfluids (Bifrost).

In fact it affect everything, that's a real pain, mostly because, it's every year, before the magic fix, this happen (for sure, 2016, 2017, 2018 were affected before 'the fix')…

Most of the time on previous release, it's just switch . to coma, then done, so you will be able to use coma to modify value, but this year, it switch very randomly, from one to the other, the only serious fix I found, is to switch my OS to English-US

Every year, the same issue, it's time that they take it seriously and fix this for good. For me , this should be set on max preferences (with dot as default, since it will make this consistant with MXS experience)...so it will fix it one time for all.

Hello @Marc_Auv

Good to see you back in the forums! I'm sorry to hear this is causing such trouble in your workflow! Though I'm thankful that the development team is already aware of this behavior and working to address it!

@Anonymous Thanks for bringing this bifrost thread to my attention, I hadn't seen this until now, and I just passed it along to development, huge help!

@RGhost77 argh I'm so sorry that you are having issues pertaining to this as well! @Marc_Auv has been super great helping to document this issue and has even started an Ideas board for it!

If I knew how to program, i would be right next to the team on this trying to help out! I will update you all once I have information to pass along, thanks for your patience 😄

:).
Since i comment on one other thread and post a workaround for 3dsMAX 2019/2019.1 , i should post here the link for the workaround, not fair from me to start a thread and never give on this one the workaround.
For those having this issue, until a fix came out, take a look here (and give a vote to max idea)
