Hello,
I've started working on 3ds MAX for the first time and my laptop crashed about 7 times after working for no more than 30 minutes on the software, using basic commands, not even renderings.
I have a gaming laptop, ASUS GL553VE with a graphics card of 1050ti. I took a quick look at an autodesk reference document (link: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/sites/default/files/file_downloads/3dsmax2020_GFX_ResultsNovember2019...) and the table on page 7 seems to include a several models of graphics cards (1060, 1070...), but no where does it show 1050ti. Therefore I'd like to ask whether my graphics cards is the cause of my laptop crashing into blue screens.
On another subject, I can't seem to find a certain command of Revit Vray tutorial that I'm following. I'll attach the picture below.
You can see that I don't have the box "Opaque Material Override" to check it.
I hope someone could assist me with my 2 issues. Thank you very much!!

I believe I solved it afterall. All I had to do was launch my Nvidia GeForce app to install the graphics card and then made sure to run 3ds Max with Nvidia card as a display driver.
However, I'm still trying to figure out the solution to my second issue, that of Revit's Opaque Materials Override box.
