3ds max: Maximum nested error and call stack overflow?

I hope someone can help me with this.

I attempted to open my project this morning and 3dsMax gave me some weird error messages followed by a crash.

I have provided a photo of my problem below if anyone can help me.

I might first try a reset of 3ds Max. Possibly your user preferences got corrupted?
