3ds Max is not importing color from Inventor part

Hello,

I am trying to import an Inventor part (*.ipt) into 3ds Max in order to export it as an OBJ.

I cannot import the color from the Inventor part into 3ds Max.  The Inventor part is imported but is without color.

Is there an easy solution to this problem?  Does the problem lie with importing the part into 3ds Max or exporting/saving the part in Inventor?

I don't know if you have "Showcase" because it can do the trick for you.

Keeps your materials and it exports to OBJ

Do you have Inventor and 3ds Max on the same computer?

I would suspect a problem with the materials and appearance library in Inventor.

I just tried your workflow on my computer and everything worked correctly, and my Inventor is configured to use the Inventor Material Library. Worked with a material or with an appearance.
