3ds max from ipad pro?

Hi!

I've seen the Iphone 8, 8Plus, and X have such powerful processors on the benchmarks.
Now comes the Ipad X as these smartphones are so powerful there are 3Ds max on Ipad pro.
When will it be available?
Are there any hopes?

3ds max is a windows program

i doubt there will be a native 3ds max software for the ipad

it will be running in the cloud before there will be a native ipad app

Hello @Anonymous and welcome to the community,

Max will likely never be available for MacOS, it would require a total rewrite of the backend.  Max is a Windows only software currently.  I did test it on a MS Surface Pro 2 and it was working fine so there is the ability to use it on some tablets.

It would be great that 3ds max would turn on a new generation Ipad apple because they have such fast processors.
I hope you will realize this APP.
Since you said that 3ds max runs on a surface where can I find it?

Hello @Anonymous,

You can just install the regular 3ds Max installer.  Tested on MS Surface Pro 2 (older tablet.)  It's not a separate app, just the main installer.

I use 3DS MAX on my iPad Pro every day. No, really, using Microsoft Remote Desktop :). Actually, I think this is the future anyway. We'll be able to run any software on any device. I can sit on the beach or in a hotel, as long as I have good internet, and run MAX from my iPhone X if I wanted to. The screen would be small, but I have checked on rendering progress this way for years. Now, I can get work done this way from my 15" MacBook Pro without any problems at all. I ran MAX in the cloud for a while, but that got too expensive, so I stopped. Give it a few years and downloading MAX and installing it locally will be a thing of the past. When 5G comes out in a couple years our LTE will be faster than most of our home/work internet speed, so our phones will be our gateway to the internet... all we'll need is a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, or  VR goggles for that matter.

I would like 3ds Max to turn on the iPad with its downloadable plug-ins from the internet and their software scripts.
Or do I have to install Vmware or virtual box and install windows 10 on ipad, or I log in to a cloud server and install 3ds max and quli cloud are free? Install maxs 3Ds depending on the tablet's CPU or 32 or 64 I love doing experiments 🙂 .
Already Iphone X started windows 95 between windows 7 and 10.
