Hello.

I'm having a problem rendering and I don't know if it's a computer problem or what's going on.

The fact is that, when rendering, the 3ds max closes at once without finishing the render and, sometimes, even the PC restarts, showing blue screen.

It's very strange because the scene is so small.

I am doing a master's degree and the teacher has tested my scene on his computer and it works correctly.

I use 3ds max 2022 and Vray 6.1, with windows 10 pro.

Please, if you can suggest something, I appreciate it.

The equipment is new and this is its configuration:

Processor: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900KF 3.00 GHz

RAM: 128GB

NVIDIA RTX 4080

Thanks a lot

Hi,

Can you please look in the Windows Event Viewer Logs for 'Critical' level errors?
Process is explained below:
https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmagic/windows-10-crash-log.html

You can sort the level of the error logs by clicking on the word 'level'.
Look for the most recent red exclaimation mark error after Windows BlueScreens and restarts.

Hopefully it is just an outdated driver/software or something, worst case scenario might be an underpowered PSU.

You can also check the most recent entries in the 3DSMax Log by copying and pasting the following into Windows Explorer:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\3dsMax\2022 - 64bit\ENU\Network\Max.log
