3ds max 2024 - new colour picker problem

Hi folks, I find I cannot paste Colour Hex values in the box shown above.  Bug?  Surely can't be by design?

This is not a bug, but it was designed as it is. We have a list of improvements regarding the Color Picker. The editable HEX filed is one of them.
