3ds Max 2016 runtime error R6025

Anonymous
Not applicable

When I close 3ds Max 2016, just after the 3dsmax.exe process is about to stop I get this runtime error "R6025 pure virtual funtion call".  I press OK and it is keeps popping back forever until I force-stop the 3dsmax.exe process.

Anyone else have this problem?

I started experiencing this issue in the last several weeks or months (not sure exactly when). In any event, it's happening here with Max 2016 SP2/Ext 2. Is this still happening for others?

I fixed the problem by deleting a RPC Model into the scene that caused that 3D Max Crash

hi guys

This only apply to those who have waccom. Its something to do with the waccom touch.exe file that is running in the task. So if you see under your processes in task manager ( ctrl + alt+ delete) you'll realized that wacom_tablet.exe and wacomHost.exe is running. If there is any other wacom.exe file running, end task it. That solve my issue. Now you can work while your wacom is connected to your com.

Than again for those without wacom and have this issue.... really godbless and hope someone would found a solution. Sigh.

I've got the same error today but I don't have a Wacom tablet or Cintiq installed and I was working in AutoCAD 2016 doing only 2D work. I clicked on OK button and disappeared...

Hi @User_2011

I wanted to clarify, are you working in 3DS Max 2016 with a Wacom tablet, and this error popped up? What Update package are you on in 3DS Max?

If you are experiencing this error, but in AutoCAD, I would suggest posting to the AutoCAD Forums here, and insert a weblink to this thread in your post (for reference).  Feel free to also mention my colleague @john.vellek, as he does support on those forums.

Looking forward to helping you resolve this issue 😄

HI @User_2011,

Please tell me the exact error that occurred in AutoCAD with out the tablet(s) installed.  When it happened, did you have the opportunity to submit a CER report? If so, please provide me with the CER report number so I can look up the record.

Please also, provide me with a NFO file so I can better understand how your computer is currently configured.

If this happens frequently, does it seem to happen in all files or just certain ones?

If your data needs to be private or confidential, please email it directly to me at [email protected] and please include a link to this thread in your email.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
