3ds max 2016 - Multi-touch Devices feature SUCKS

Yeah, doesn't seem they spent much time with the feature.  Not prime time as usual.

Zooming sucks.  not smooth.  (have to select the +/- zoom tool first)

Panning with 2 finger swipe?  nope, not working here on a Dell XPS 27 touch display.

Return to Home Position with 2 finger double tap...nope.

Cannot get the others to work properly either.

Will have to try with the Wacom tablet later.

it figures, horse$hit, incomplete feature again, doesn't fully work with touch displays even with Enable Touch Navigation on in preferences:

3ds Max can recognize gestural input from your multi-touch device, meaning you can work with a scene using simple finger taps and hand gestures.

3ds Max supports the following multi-touch devices:

  • Wacom Intuos 5
  • Cintiq 24HD Touch and Cintiq Companion

To use 3ds Max with your multi-touch device, ensure that Enable Touch Navigation is turned on. This option is on the panel Customize Preferences Interaction Mode. If your setup includes a supported multi-touch device with the latest drivers, no additional configuration is required.

Hi
Is there any opportunity to make it work fine?

This feature should be very convenient!
