3DS 2016 Environment Map not displaying

Hi All

in 3DS 2016, my HDRIs are not displaying in the viewport background when using it in the environment maps.... The only thing it displays is a white background?  Any ideas?  Works perfectly in 2015

Hi, on top left corner of your viewport, click on shaded or whatever settings you have selected, click on viewport background and select environment background.

If my HDRs are tweaked by Color Correction (gamma value set to 0.55 to get stronger shadows) they appear pitch black 😞

Worked fine in Max2015. Can anyone confirm?

Hi Stefan!

I just saw your post here...

Yes, I can confirm that.

It is a known issue that in MAX 2016 the usage of a Color Correct will prevent any texture to be visible as Viewport background.

This is already forwarded to our development.

Greetings,

Jan.
