3 viewports in a row - is this possible

There are almost all variations of viewport layouts available which one can do with 2, 3 or 4 viewports. Beside one: there is no preset for 3 viewports in a row. It is possible to take the layout with 1 big and 3 small viewports underneath and move the borders. But it would be better if there would be a preset for 3 in a row. Does anyone have an idea? As I have 3 monitors side by side (yes I know, it is decadent) it would be fine to use all of them.

Hi @3d-labor

Not EXACTLY as you've described, but keep an eye on this idea and join the discussion:

Hello @3d-labor

3 viewports sounds amazing, I would love to see a setup like that! I wasn't able to find much, and this requires a newer Graphics card, but a colleague did send me a link to this Nvidia surround setup.

Otherwise, voting for the Ideas forum post @brentscannell linked would be a good bet 😄

Mine is a Quadro P4000 and I bought it used. It works fine and until now I had no problems. It is really a big advantage to have 3 monitors. On the 3rd monitor I use the windows of my plugins (Forest Pack, Rail Clone, Project Manager) or have a Remote Desktop link to my render computer (yes, Windows Remot Desktop, never thought that this could work fine, but it really does). And I can look at photos or other informational files while modeling. It has really improved my work.
