Hi guys; the simulation of this spline (projection a vert on the pulley) the left one with a( corner vert) is realistic. inside max has any solutions?Capture.PNG

I'm sorry, but your question is not clear.  Can you try asking in a different way?  Maybe use something like Google Translate or post in your native language to describe what you are asking.

thanks camedeck ; when we rotate the red circle should the spline vert touch the pulley surface (the spline should be something like Elastic-plastic) the manual animation has done. should it be dynamic.

Hi, friends. I have three questions 1- how I can fix the ty flow simulation wrong manually the picture shown (1) should the curved shape of the spheres be straight like ( Blue shape is drawn blue line )how I can add a keyframe to that 2- how I can use the path deform modifier on the ty flow spline, for example, the box can move along the length of ty flow spline. 3- how I can attach or skin wrap a spline (yellow ) to a blue poly object (ty flow spline whit modifiers).Capture-1.PNG

Is your goal to make the spline look like a rubber band has been wrapped around the outer most blue wheels and when you rotate the red ring the blue wheels rotate about it  and the "rubber band" wraps differently around the blue wheels and stay maintains tangent?  (A long sentence I know!)

hi, leeminardi; yes I want that if it works whit a spline it is so much better should it has the behavior like a rubber band around all hub(gray cylinders and blue hubs in pictures shown one ) the spline grows and shrinks whit hub tangent it does not have a travel in this case just the verts get displace. and I want the (ty flow) solution too. it has a nice advantage the spline has accurate travel whit hub tangent connecting surface. I had to try it whit volume select it's not nice.

@mad.kaveh I was curious if I could take a completely different approach and try to solve the tangency condition mathematically and then use Position Scripts to locate the tangent points on the two upper most tubes. A single straight spline would be used to go from, for example, tube1 (linked to circle 1) and tube 10 (linked to circle 2). The spline bridging the other tubes does not change while tube1 and tube 10 are the effective outer tubes.  As cirlcle1 turns there would eventually be a point where the tangent points move to the next tube in rotation.

The attached file uses two position scripts to locate two point (Pt1, Pt2).  The location of Pt1 is the vector addition of the vector to the center of tube1 (tube1w = tube1 in world coordinates, I linked tube1 to circle 1) plus a vector perpendicular to the unit vector from tube 1 to tube 10 times the radius of the tube (I used 22).

Note, in this example I use a convention to end variable names for transforms with a "T" and positions with a "P".

You can rotate either circle 1 or circle 2 and the spline will maintain tangency.

The next task would be to relate the rotation of circle 2 to circle 1.  The bigger task is to determine the amount of rotation that should cause different tubes to be used and then how to make that change.

If you think this approach  has promise I could see how far I could take it.

HI, leeminardi ; thanks for your response the expression solution looks not good should the spline be one single part I need it for path deform modifiers. I got stuck in the lower version of the max I couldn't open your attached file. the ty flow conform has various modes the best for this case is shrink wrap but it does not work suitable. I think ty flow Particle is the best solution. please try in higher max version (spline influence modifiers and data channel volume select)sects maybe they work. think you so much.

@mad.kaveh   I think my approach is a dead end and that you should continue your exploration with ty flow conform. I am not familiar with this capability but looking at your results I might suggest trying it with two extruded hexagons with rounded edges instead of the 6 tubes for each wheel.     The hexagons could be linked to the circles and then hidden.

thanks no please don't kill it I tried both approaches I couldn't open the file please make a quick video for that and the cylinder should be six.Capture.PNG
