Hot Wheels Car and Track Simulation (Best Approach)

Given a Hot Wheels track with hills, loops, twists and turns, what method makes more sense for animating the car, using MassFX and rigid objects, or a path constraint?

 

I've come up with a few advantages and disadvantages for each, but don't have enough experience to know which one's going to work in the long-run.
