Attribute holder parameter editor not adding new parameters

So I applied an attribute holder to a controller and one parameter to that. I did some things to it in the reaction manager but now that I went back to the parameter editor its being weird. I can select add for new parameters and edit them in the edit dialogue but they won't actually populate in the modify tab and I'm not sure why, any help would be appreciated.

What version of 3ds Max?

Try resetting...Reset 3ds Max to Default

Hello, excuse the late response, I am using 3DS Max 2019, the latest version.
