Animation To Unity Problem

Hey All!
I'm having a bad situation with the animation I made in max with CAT rig, and importing it to Unity.
the animation works perfectly in max but when the FBX imports in unity it looks like the skin weights are all messed up.

my model and rig scale are all good. I baked all the vertex weights. I tried to make it over and over again but still had the same problem.

does anyone know how to fix it? or maybe things I need to check before the export?

I attached photos of the model in max, in unity, and my export animation settings.

thanks.

Have you tried resetting the XForm on your CAT rig before exporting? This can help to avoid issues with scaling and orientation in Unity....or check that the vertex weights are properly assigned to the mesh.

I see you have the checkbox for bake the animation checked. Just make sure the mesh animation is applied correctly in Unity.

When importing the FBX file into Unity, make sure to check the import settings. You may need to adjust the settings to get the animation to work correctly. Have you tried other file formats like OBJ just to triple-check?

Check the model's hierarchy: Ensure that the model's hierarchy is correct in Unity. The rig and mesh should be properly nested within each other.

That's all I could come up with for now. Hit the like button if any of those worked for you! cheers!
