Let's say I have some objects, arranged in a hierarchy - not constraint, just parented under each other. When I then add the top one to a new animation layer (not base layer), the other ones get added too. Which, isn't soo bad except that the layers are "bugged"* - it does not show up in the animation layer roll-out, and is basically impossible to remove. Even after I remove it from the whole "assign controller" menu, I cannot then remove base layers. What do?
PS: I've found how to basically nuke the layers even after this bug, which seems to remove layers on all the objects. So a lot of work still lost, and does not address the main issue of "applying layers to hierarchies is really bad"
