Good day all. I uploaded a lisp file that should autonumber blocks into AC 2012 and AutoCAD shows that it uploaded sucessfuly. However when I go to run the routine i get the error message 'error: bad character read (octal): 4' Can anyone help?
This is not a regular lisp file. The file ending should not be .lsp. It is some sort of compiled file as you can not view it in a text editor like Notepad. So not able to look at the code.
1) i rename the file InsertC.LSP 17 KB
to insertc.vlx
2) i load my application faschecker.exe and i got this error:
"invalid fas signature"
3) i rename tjhe file insertc.lsp to insertc.fas
4)i load in autocad ,, and appers it it correct!!????
5) i run my application faschecker.exe and i got this error:
"invalid fas signature"
6)apparently the file insertc.vlx is broken..
Regards..
You need to be able to look at the code, and don't think this can be done with a compiled lisp program. I think you need the original lsp program before it was compiled to be able to analyze what is going on, unless someone else has an idea.
