Hi!
I’ve got customer who use Productstream 2009.
Software environment:
Windows 2003 Server + SP2
MS SQL 2005 Standard + SP2
Until last week system working well but the customer need to move database files (mdf) to another drive.
I propose to do it through backup and restore vault to new location.
First I make backup and restore on test machine (Win2003 Server R2 + SQL 2005 Standard SP2) – restore was successful.
After this test I proceed to make restore to production server. I tried several times. All the time restore was failed.
I make uninstall ADMS and SQL Server and install again – nothing changes.
Finally I make fresh install of Windows Server 2003 SP2 – NOTHING CHANGES!?
ADMS log:

Hi,
The restore operation is taking longer than your configured database timeouts - resulting in the error. I'd recommend increasing the timeout values in web.config to avoid this problem. The advanced configuration guide has a section on how to do this (page 53) : http://images.autodesk.com/adsk/files/2009_2010_advanced_configuration_guide.pdf . I believe the 'longcommand' timeout should be the one used in restore .
Hope this helps,
Paul
Hi!
Paul, thank You. Probably this is the solution. The backup is really large – filestore has ca 170GB.
Now restoring is in progress… I’II give info when finish.
