Hi all 

Having some trouble with VDS 2018/2018.1, if we use 'Replace With Copy incl. Drawing' in an assembly.

Some times the assembly get wird and says that 'A Later Version have been saved' 

If I tried to use Save Copy AS, I get this issue with old files.

Do you have some errors in the log file located at c:\temp\datastandard4Inventor.log?

If so, can you post it here?

I am able to reproduce the issue what you are facing.

It certainly looks like a bug and hopefully Autodesk will consider to address it.

However, I have found a workaround that already exists for this issue. I have tested it and it works.

To summarize here, the workaround is to

• Go to Vault tab and click Vault Options
• In the Options dialog, click on Prompts
• From the list, find "Get(Download)" File '{0}' is checked out to you. Are you sure you want to overwrite it with data from the Vault?
• Change the Response from the Default "Yes", and Frequency "Always Prompt" to No, and "Never Prompt"

Hi,

I am able to reproduce the issue and the workaround is not helping using the files that you have sent.

So, it might be best if you contact Autodesk support in order to have them fixed it in the next version or so.
