Hello,

 

I have linked a part to its assembly by mistake and cannot seem to undo this action. I now have an icon in Vault, as shown in the attached picture, and would like to undo this.

 

Thank you in advance for any help with this problem.

Hi @Anonymous
As far as I can see in the image what you have done is assign an item number to your IPT file.
If you go to the Item Master and delete the item, the icon you are viewing next to the file will be deleted.

In that message Vault asks you to confirm the deletion of the item and all its revisions. The file will remain there.
But if you want to stay safer, you can do a test by checking in a test file, associating an item to the file and then trying to delete the item to verify that the file will remain there.
I hope I could clarify the doubt.
