I agree with metis, it's not that difficult of a program to learn. And given
how much Building and Structure have advanced in just the last few releases,
I can't imagine Systems is going behind too much longer. Get Revit, start
learning it - it may meet all your needs at the moment. If not, perhaps
within the year it will be, and by then you'll have largely mastered it.
ACAD and Revit work great together - import/export between the two.
The future is definitely Revit. Integrated Building/Structure/Systems models
will be without equal.

I am currently trying to upgrade my software, and I want to do more 3-D
objects. I work on all MEP drawings i am currently looking at purchasing
Autodesk AutoCAD Revit Series- systems plus. what i want to know is that is
this the best product out right now, to create a 3-D model of my MEP dwgs.
is their a big learning curve coming from autocad to revit or would i be
able to pick up fast? Also do I really need revit or will the ABS do just as
much with out the Revit to create quick 3-D models? I need to upgrade soon,
and a speedy response would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
