Is it possible to put an If/Then statement in a duct label?
I have vertical ducts that sometimes report their size as 48x12 and sometimes 12x48. I would like to make one label that covers both situations, and uses an If/Then statement to place the larger value first and the smaller value last.
But I can seem to get at the duct properties from within the Family Types dialog of the Label family.
Any thoughts here?

Unfortunately, no. Labels cannot be dependent on data; all they are capable of doing is reporting it. And since Duct are System Families, you can't create a Shared Parameter with a formula, either. The best you can do is to create an alternate Tag/Label that manually reports "Width" and "Height" individually, but reversed. Of course, the Tag Type would have to be controlled manually.
Can a shared parameter be created to repeat/ report the value of a system family, Then the shared parameter used in formula's,schedules and tags?
