Using Revit one box, we are predominantly MEP engineers, but I want the other ribbons to remain available to the users. But I would also like the 'Systems' tab to be leftmost. Is this possible?
I don't see any mechanism for organizing the tabs in the 'User Interface' portion of Options.
Any suggestions?
Thanks Corey!
That works, but it doesn't look like that settings is being saved in Revit.ini. I'm wondering where it's saved and how I can push it out to the masses. Any thoughts?
That, I don't know. Search this forum and the Revit Architecture forum and see if anyone else has ever posted a solution.
Here is an old document regarding resetting the Revit interface:
Resetting the Autodesk Revit 2012 user interface
http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS16825244
In this document it indicates that the Ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar information is stored in the UIState.dat file.
I wouldn't expect the UIState.dat file to put Revit into a viewer mode. However, there is normally a shortcut on the start menu to start the Revit viewer.
How did you launch Revit after changing the UIState.dat file?
