Reusing existing MEP equipment

Hello,

I’m working on a project where the architect needs to add an addition to an existing building. There is some existing electrical equipment that needs to be moved to a different location of the building. I would imagine this might call for custom phases/ phase filters, but I’m not quite sure the best approach or practice to do so. Does anyone have any ideas on this? I have not been able to find anything on this topic.

Thank you in advance!

The right approach in Revit is demolish the existing equipment and place it in the new phase.  You can identify them as refurbished/relocated items via any parameter you see fit for tagging or scheduling.
