Walls w/ different line weights

Is it possible to assign subcategories to Walls, so that I can control the
line weights??? I have a system panel furniture wall that I would live to
have as a different line weight then regular walls. I can edit the line
weight using the line weight command but it only effects the current view.
I guess it would almost make sense to do the wall as a family, if you can't
do subcategories.

Take a look at Revit Building 9's Filters feature. You create a Filter assigned to the wall category. Then choose a parameter to use to filter a view for that object.

If you create a wall type that includes a Type Comment you can filter on that value. So you could use a Type Comment like, System Panel Furniture and then in a view add the filter to the view altering how they look. Just apply the same filter in a view template along with overrides.

That said, the furniture system category of families is intended for this sort of object. Take a look at the stock content for an example of their approach.
