I seem to remember one of the founders of Revit addressing this in the
past. It was on the old ZoogDesign forum I believe. The forum has been
closed but it is searchable at Augi.com. What I remember is that a
number of object and annotation settings that the user can't adjust use
the "Annotation Lineweight #1" which is accessible under the lineweights
settings. If you want to experiment you could set this to a really thick
lineweight and see what objects are affected. Then you can decide if its
worth messing with based on how many different things are affected.
(Note: A lot of the objects that you CAN change use this lineweight as
the default as well, so you will have to change all of them to another
lineweight if you decide to make changes to the default lineweight.) I'm
going from memory here so no guarantees, but it might be worth a shot
since the initial test only involves a few mouse clicks.

There does not appear to be anywhere I have found in Object Styles that this can be changed for an entire project. The Materials do not have a lineweght option, nor do fill patterns. Anybody guide me to the right way to do this?
