Visibility Problem

I have a two story floor plan. On the second floor I sketched over the first floor walls with hidden model lines. What I am trying to show is the floor below as hidden. Only certain parts of my hidden lines are displayed. Its almost as the roof is cutting them off or ?

The image on the right you see I've selected the lines by holding shift so they appear.. this is how I want them to be displayed. The image to the left is how it is currently with revit cutting off my hidden lines.

A better way to do this is to use the linework tool. Go to view
properties and adjust your view range to include the floor below. Use
the temporary hide / isolate tool to hide your floor (or you can switch
to wireframe view, but you can end up with a lot of lines to sort
through). Now you should be able to see the first floor walls. Use the
linework tool to change the wall faces to hidden lines. Unhide your
floor and reset your view range and you should still see the walls below
as hidden lines. This way the lines will always be in the correct
location since they reflect the actual model and will move with the
walls if you make changes. If you delete a wall and then recreate it you
will have to re-do the procedure.
