Too constraining

Constraints are great but:

I want to move a hellical parking ramp 4". Revit will not let me do it.
All I can get is the following error message:

"A serious error has occurred. It is strongly recommended that you use Save
As to save your work in a new file before continuing."

I have tried un-grouping. I have tried moving the ramps one by one. I have
tried editing each ramp's sketch. No matter what I can't move my ramps and
all I get is the stupid error messages. There HAS to be a better way.

Thanks!

Have you been using the Move command?
Or just selecting and dragging?

Try the Move command and check "Disjoin"
