I am working on a foundation plan. The foundation below the ground floor slab consists of a poured 2’ foundation. Then 8” of CMU blockwork which is built up to the ground floor slab. This detail shows up very well when creating a section through the building.
I have included the soil material in section. However I would like to see a foundation plan showing both 2’ concrete and the 8” CMU wall.
However the problem is that by using the soil material all I can do is see one type of material depending on where the cut in the plan is taken.
What I would like to create is a drawings showing a 2’ concrete foundation surrounded by soil on which the 8” CMU block wall is in the middle. http://screencast.com/t/LAEGv3H3J Any help would be appreciated.
