Retrieving Line Styles from Revit

Hi,

I have been trying to retrieve the available line styles within the active revit document to populate a plugin combobox with them. I am using C# language. So far, I have come to the conclusion to use GetLineStyleIds method, but still don't know how it really can be used - this is apparently new in 2013, and no complete documentation exists on how to implement it. Does anybody know an example on how to do this?

What is a line style, please?

I suggest that you explore your Revit model using RevitLookup. That will show you what is there and how to access it. Maybe you mean LinePatternElement? I see a lot of those when looking through Add-Ins > Revit Lookup > Snoop DB... > LinePatternElement.
