Computed Fields - Unit of Measure

I have a computed field that calculates the days between two dates.  The results have a unit of "days".  For example, days between 01/22/2015 and 12/29/2014 shows as "24 days".  Is there a way to remove the unit of measure (days) from the result of this computed field?

Thanks!

Greetings,
Try this:
extract(day from interval '24 days'); // returns '24'
In your case place the interval variable where the quotes are.

Martin,

Where is the documentation for the syntax in the computed fields?

I found your note on the interval '24 days' to be useful.  But there seems to be a lot more available.

Please advise.

Don
