abort a modify in a reactor

Hi,

is it possible abort a modify in the modified() method of a reactor ?

If not, how can do ? My goal is to react to a user modify, do some checks

on the modified entity and, if the check fails, abort the modify ...

Which is the correct objectarx mechanism to use ?

Thnaks

Leonard

Hi Leonard,

There is no direct way to prevent modification from the reactor callback.

I think the closest you can get is to restore the change by using a series of reactors to monitor the change or by undoing the last change.

In the ObjectARX Training material which can be downloaded here, Step 7 (Transient Reactors) prevents modification using a set of transient reactors.
