I am using the max-mudbox-motionbuilder 2015 suite. I am having trouble exporting maps from high res models in mudbox back to low res models in max. I have been able to get good normal maps and displacement maps but can not get the painted layers to export correctly. I get the diffuse layer in the layers box this never seems to translate to a texture. When in max if I try to load the textures by hand, I get great detail out of my normal map in the diffuse slot but where do I get and put paint layers? I must be missing something in workflow but can not figure it out.
I'm not sure why you can't export diffuse texture to max?
Could you zip the scense file and send to me?
Can you send me an e-mail address. Even zipped, the files seem to be too large.
Did my files reach you through the ftp site? This is the first time I have used an ftp.
