I am trying to apply a Mash distribute node to my mesh but everytime I try to do it the mesh moves down from its original position. I reset the transformation and applied freeze transformation but is not working. I am using Maya 2017 Sp1

1. What can I do so the mesh doesnt move?

2. How do I know if the mesh have a double transformation node?

Hi!

I'm not sure if i understand what you mean.

If you apply a MASH Network to an object, the original object is hidden and the default MASH Object with a linear distribution is created at the origin of your scene. If you want to create the MASH Object at the same position as your original Object add a Mash_Transform and connect the transform node of the original object to MASH_Transform -> Controller Null.

Oh sorry. I applied the mash node to the terrain not the grass. The grass then use the geometry terrain to replicate and scatter.
