How to make a surface rough and uneven?

Hi guys,

What do you think you be the right way to make a surface rough and uneven, as in the picture below? Or should it be done at some later stage?

Thanks.

I'd add a texture with a bumpmap to it, that would be the easiest way in my opinion.

Thanks Niels! Would adding a bumpmap work only visualy in Inventor, or would it also be on the real part, when made with SLA ?

It would only be cosmetic.
I would post process the RP model to get the texture.

I see... but maybe there are some solutions to get that onto the RP model?

If you really want an actual surface, you might do something like in the file i attached.

This is not the best example, but i just made it really fast to give you an idea.

Hope it is of some use.
