Sheet Metal: Contour Roll (solid) vs Revolve (thickened surface)

Hello,

What is the difference in making a pipe by using Contour Roll or Revolve (thickened surface)?

I'm curious about modeling with surfaces but will there be any problems with the sheet metal?

Thanks for your time!

How you gonna produce the pipe?

Roling a sheet metal, or you will buy the pipe ready to use?

The sheet metal is going to be rolled.

Try to Sheet metal roll, maybe better to control the gap (Rip)... but, in theory, use can use any process you like.
