Paste function does not work, if mouse cursor is outside drawing sheet boundaries

Paste function does not work, if mouse cursor is outside drawing sheet boundaries. Why is that? Bug?

If you have mouse cursor inside the drawing sheet boundaries and copy a view (or anything else) and then exit the boundaries, you cannot paste until you go inside boundaries again.

This also causes errors with iLogic rules (if you use copy / paste commands), if mouse is outside the boundaries. I spend several house to figure out why code does not work (LoL).

Not sure why but I noticed it years ago so the behaviour is not new..

Use iLogic Copy? Please consider voting for this long overdue idea (not mine):https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ideas/string-replace-for-ilogic-design-copy/idi-p/3821399

Hi,

Inventor 2021, 2022, and 2023 have resolved this issue.

I recommend updating to a later version.

Check the screencast with reproducing this command in 4 versions below:

"Paste" command not working in Inventor 2020, when cursor is outside of the sheet
