multiple drawing templates within one drawing

Hi hoping you can help. I use Inventor 2017.

  1. Is it possible when making a drawing template for the 2nd sheet to use a different template? E.g. 1st sheet for manufacturing purposes and 2nd sheet for line drawing with different information on which can be sent out to customers. So it is saved in one file rather than two separate drawing files with different templates.
  2. When saving a drawing is it possible to save the .idw and at the same time automatically save the .pdf file

Welcome to the community..

To answer question #1, yes you can have different borders and title blocks per each drawing sheet.   Here is something you may want to consider.  Yes it goes into laying out your drawing views but you could have a configuration set for Sheet 1 and Sheet 2.

For question #2..  You would have to create an iLogic rule that would be triggered on an Inventor save to save the PDF.  Do you know how to use iLogic?
