was happening to me this morning on a sheet metal part. total pita! what i
did, was "save as" the part. deleted the original, then re-inserted the one
with the different name. for some crazy reason it worked. worth a try for you.

josh. how are you doing on hard drive space? have you cleaned your temp
directory? try those 2 things too. and since this problem just started to
arise.....i'm assuming you are NOT using an ATI video card, right?

try nuking the current user section of the registry pertaining to IV.
Sometimes that helps although I haven't had to resort to that since
R4.
